Runs big and boxy

I liked the style, design and herringbone pattern. However it runs big. I ordered a size UK 8/US 4 and I was swimming in the jacket. I'm 5'2" and 125lbs. I have skinny arms and wear a 32E bra size and debating whether to order 1 or 2 sizes smaller. Either way I will need to have it shorten.
