I love it!! I was hesitant because of the price, but I got it on sale and I couldn't be happier with this blender!

Vitamix holds to its quality expecatations

I've used a small personal blender since I was in college and have it more than 10 years. It never broke, but it had a tough time getting through enough frozen fruit when it came to smoothies. I saw a deal on this Vitamix and decided to upgrade. Going up in quality overnight, it's actually an intimidating blender. At full speed, this thing is very loud, but what it produces is magic. My smoothies have a fluffy, creamy texture now. The chia seeds that I use are now pulverized and look more like pepper flakes than seeds now. I've yet to find a situation that this blender can't handle. I was on the fence on getting this model over their most famous standard model that is more expensive. In my research I found that they use the exact same motors, but the knobs are a bit different, and they containers they offer are different in size and use case. The standard model seems to be targeted for professional use, while this model suits home use cases better. I can actually put this one away in the pantry after I'm done. All being said, I'm glad I chose this model. It's great for small to medium tasks and it cleans easily. And if you ever need the larger container from the standard model, you can always just buy it. The simplicity of the controls is a big selling point for me. You might be intimidated about how loud this blender is, but it's worth the performance and results you'll get out of it.

A blending beast!

I love this blender! Why did I wait so long? This thing is a beast! I've made smoothies, vegan ice-cream, vegan cheesecake and even almond butter! Im pretty sure this will be the last blender I ever purchase.

2nd Vitamix Can’t be without one!!

This is a very sturdy excellent Vitamix model Although it’s basic it certainly does the job beautifully, I mainly use this for juicing/ smoothies. Other popular choices are for making pesto sauce or lemonade I had another model for many years until it died out of warranty This one is simpler with less dials and settings but perfectly adequate for what I need Vitamix quality ie power speed and durability are all present I love the red base color for a change and purchased a stainless steel container from another company to use along with the clear pitcher that comes with the Vitamix Very pleased with my new machine
