Lovely sweater, nutty sizing

The sweater looks just like what it is: classic oversize standing-neck design, perfect light heather grey, good midweight cashmere. Knowing Vince, and after reading reviews, I sized down from my usual Medium to a Small. It was still Huge. So I returned for XS and that one fits like on the model. Now, if only we would have a day forty degrees cooler than it is today...

Disappointed

I love Vince cashmere sweaters and own many. I purchased this one in Navy a few months ago and was very pleased. The fit, the quality of the yarn, and the deep color of the navy blue. I purchased it in a small because I know that Vince can run big. I normally wear a medium and the small fit perfectly. Okay, so why am I disappointed? I decided to get the silver gray, expecting it to be as nice as the navy. It is not. I ordered it in a size small. The cashmere is thinner than the navy - probably because the dye of darker colors adds a bit of weight to the yarn. And the fit is way off for a small. It is longer and boxier than the navy. Either it was a return or it sat on a hanger for too long or there is inconsistency in the manufacturing. I was very disappointed. The price is to high for the poor quality of this sweater. And I just don't like how it fits me, so am returning it.
