Quality you can feel
We bought these to use as our everyday china to replace our 30 year old Italian made china which was really showing its age. The V-B china is very elegant and fine but it's heavy in the hand. The material must be very dense and hard. We haven't made a scratch on it yet. It feels like it will last a lifetime.

Buy this set!
Love this set! Purchased 2 for myself for Christmas. I’ve been looking at it for years. My only complaint is that cutlery is loud when in contact with it. Trying to cut something or scoop is grating. But, I’m still glad I bought it. So beautiful.

Marks easily, must dry to prevent marks and makes a lot of niose when utensils hit it, more than usual

Beautiful set!
I’ve been looking at V&B’s Manufacture Rock for years. Was never able to catch it on sale. This Christmas I was able to get it :) I love it! I knew I would too! The style projects a delicate strength with the textured rims and matte glazed porcelain. There are some material things in life that strike a person as inspired, and though I know it’s just dinnerware, this style is elegant without being too girly. My husband even remarked on it, and he cares nothing for dishes. I bought the white, but plan to purchase the black medium rice bowls for cereal/small desserts and maybe the chargers for more formal occasions. I think it outshines my good china, tbh. It has a cool, modern vibe. If you’re on the fence, get it. The only caveat is something other reviewers have mentioned. Metal utensils grate and are a little noisy on them. The inner sections feel like there’s no glaze, like unfinished rock, but I love the texture. I hope it holds up to daily use.
