after a few months one of the teaspoons developed rust and we can’t use it anymore!

I bought a month ago but I had been watching them few years. I am happy I bought it finally

Did not fit in my dishwasher. Grip felt uncomfortable. Wish I could return but I already used some of it so can’t.

Nice up-grade!

This stainless was a perfect update for my cabin kitchen. We had been using a hodge-podge of old utensils for 30+ years, so this is a big upgrade. I bought a set of 4 place settings at first, then added another set. We love using them.

I will have this flatware forever!

Size and Weight

I’m perplexed by the 5-star reviews. The design is nice and as expected. It’s the size of each piece that is unusual to me. The teaspoon is tiny. It’s abnormally small, so is the handle. I have average hands for a woman and it’s too small for me to hold comfortably. It’s also VERY light in weight. It feels cheap. On other hand, the soup spoon is exceptionally large! It is the size of a serving spoon! I can’t think of a situation where a spoon that large would be comfortable to eat off of. As big as it is, it should be heavier. The handle on the soup spoon is more appropriately sized for adults, though. My daughter referred to the dinner fork as a “Shrek” fork. It’s actually the size of a meat fork. I kept checking to see if I accidentally ordered 12 of the serving piece sets?? The knives were the perfect size, and the weight of those are great! Overall, kind of a baffling set of silverware. I was surprised by the light weight of all the pieces considering the quality I was hoping for.

I expected no less from Villeroy, this set has the right weight in each piece, the design is very elegant and I am completely satisfied with this purchase and the sale price
