Came across this when looking for a quality nonstick pan with a small diameter. Too many compromises on 6" pans but the shape of this, with a defined flat bottom and the flare from the sides brought it close to what I wanted - closer than anything else. I prefer omelettes and spouse prefers frittatas; this pan provides even gentle cooking, easy release and easy turning and folding. And generally great for any cooking. We hand wash and preheat before adding minimal fat. Great performance after over a year a daily use. Viking needs a lid for this! We seasoned the pan once at about six months. The only ding against perfection is the balance of the handle. Be prepared to know that the handle is overweight for the pan when it is empty but fine once there is food in it. Regardless, the height of the handle away from the cooktop and the just right, not overcrowding the cooktop length and curve of the handle make it worth being cautious with an empty pan while preheating. Great for anything; eggs, salmon, grilled sandwich, veggies, soup, chocolate. Pair it with an Oxo Flip & Fold to prepare anything beautifully. We actually purchased this pan. I often see reviews from folks who received promotional consideration - who are they and how do they do that? Anyway, we purchased the pan and then purchased a second for our camper. A great pan can pay for itself quickly when it encourages more home cooking and greater enjoyment of the meal.
