Cute, functional but poorly designed hook and tab

I bought this when it first came out over a year ago. It was so charming and cute. Unfortunately, the hook and the tab are so poorly designed, it kept coming loose from my backpack. Lost it on the train in Osaka, and a nice lady picked it up and gave it back to me.

Convenient but clip is problematic

The pouch is great for small things you want to access quickly such as balm, eye drops or even air pods. Terrific for travel, however, the clip isn't secure and the pouch dropped off (fortunately I noticed and grabbed it). The back of the pouch has a strap with a snap that I thought would help hold it in place (in addition to the clip). The strap is worse and unsnaps with very little pressure so it's essentially useless. If Tumi can fix the snap and clip problem then I would recommend this item. I attach it to the crossbody and it works well for me - but I did find myself constantly checking to be sure it was still attached. I can't return since I bought it abroad so I will try to see if there's a way I can fix it myself to make it more secure. For the price it should be perfect but is not.
