Lots of Space!
I purchased this backpack for nursing school and it can carry a LOT. Like, I'm planning to pack an extra pair of scrubs along with my stethoscope, laptop, and books - and there is still plenty of space. The side zipper holds my 32 oz Owala bottle perfectly. My only qualm is that the flap on top needs to hook into one of those loops to close fully. It's shown perfectly in the images Thule has on the website, but I don't think I thought about how annoying it is to close that loop all the time for every day use (I almost rated it 4 stars, but I should have thought more about what I needed it for). I end up not fully closing it all the time and it still carries everything just fine. It's just hard to pack everything and zip up quickly... Color and size are true to pictures & dimensions listed. This is a fantastic backpack!

I loved my old Thule backpack, which lasted a long time. The new one is an even better design, but for traveling back and forth to work, I love it. I've also used my backpacks for travel. It holds up well, and I never had issues with anyone pickpocketing me, etc.

So far husband loves it

Well thought out backpack but color not as expecte
I bought this as a backpack that could hold a decent amount of items for travel, but is not a "travel" backpack that is designed to carry a ton of clothing or shoes. I originally bought the Nutria color thinking it was caramel-khaki like you see in work wear. It's actually an ugly green yellow that is not attractive at all. The product photography does not match at all. I'd avoid that color completely and purchase black because it is unclear what color the green would be. The pockets are well thought out and I think the way to access to main compartment is really clever. The main compartment is a large open compartment with 3 folio like sleeves attached to the back of the bag. You could fit two laptops and a tablet into these sleeves and they are accessible through the zipper on the back or by flipping the the top back and unzipping the compartment there. The main compartment is accessible from one side through a side opening zipper that reminded me of photography backpacks. The other side was a long storage compartment with several stash pockets and a zippered compartment, which was surprising and really well thought through! The top zippered compartment on the top flap was smaller than I expected and would really function more as a quick stash spot for a phone when going through security than a long term storage location. The sunglasses holder is really just for a pair of sunglasses without a case so not ideal in my opinion. There is a simple front pouch that went the full length of the front.

Great way to carry your office on your back...
Able to pack almost anything you need to be productive in any locale. Sturdy, spacious and utilitarian. Hard to imagine any improvements to this design.

Roomy and very useful design
I am an airline pilot and I needed a new backpack to hold all my flight deck gear. This backpack is roomy enough to fit a MacBook, two iPads, a Bose aviation headset, a Bose QuietComfort personal headset, air pods, iPhone, charging cable pack, power bank, passport, cards, wallet, keys, and a few other random things! With all this room it still fits nicely beside my flight deck seat, and under passenger seats when riding in the back. It feels quite sturdy and is comfortable to wear while walking. The top flap fastener system takes a little getting used to but it easy to use once you practice a couple of times. My only wish is that the zippered compartment on the top flap was a little bigger. It fits my wallet, phone, and air pods, but just barely. But not a big deal, I definitely recommend this bag!
