I bought this a month ago and it does not fit my chariot. Keep in mind at some point Thule changed the arm attachments. This will not fit the older style of chariot which uses square arms. So save yourself the money make sure you check your chariot before you purchase this product

Thank you for reviewing the Thule Chariot Jogging Kit Double. I understand your frustration with this accessory not fitting your older-model Chariot multisport trailer. As the product line has developed, previous systems were phased out to produce safer and easier-to-use styles. Because of differences in hardware, newer models are not always compatible with older styles. This Thule Chariot Jogging Kit is compatible with Thule Chariot Lite, Cross and Sport double models. The Technical Specifications for each Thule accessory lists the products they are compatible with.
Bring the kids!
I have used the jogging kit on dozens and dozens of miles of the last couple years. I love that I can take my kids with me on a jog year round and keep them comfortable. It pushes super easily, turns and handles well. Very easy to attach and take off. I love it!

Nice but it doesn't turn
I bought this for my husband, who wants to run, and it is great because it provides better stability, BUT we think it was designed for people who pretty much are going to run on a straight line since it doesn't turn. My husband has gone on a couple of runs and has to lift it to turn.

Thank you for sharing your feedback on the Thule Chariot Jogging Kit. All Thule jogging stroller and mulitsport trailers are designed with a fixed front wheel. This is standard for jogging and running-specific strollers and acts as a protection against tipping that can be caused by a swiveling wheel moving at high speeds.
Love my chairot
We bought this for my son's first birthday... it was sort of a gift to ourselves, haha. We were eager to cycle this summer with him in tow. It works fantastic and is so easy to use. The adjustable handle bar is great - I'm short and my husband is tall, it's been nice being able to customize the setting. There is loads of space and it's super breezy/not too hot for my son. Shortly after we purchased the chariot we bought the jogger extension. it was a great purchase. The large front wheel makes trails and hills incredibly easy. I've been doing 90 min walks in the morning with this - unheard of with my previous stroller (which was good, but not meant to long walks). I highly recommend this for the moderately to very active parent.

Left disappointed
The chariot 2 really boasts the thoughtfulness of the design for ease of use and reliability. Such a high bar though may have set too high of an expectation for the jogging kit? How the heck do I turn with this wheel? It feels like it only wants to go straight. I have a forrested paved trail with very few straight lines. Do I really have to jog on two wheels for the majority of my course?

Strollers intended for running usually have this as a feature as it is generally more stable at higher speeds and eliminates the tipping hazard incurred by running with a swiveling front wheel. Not My Favourite
The locked wheel isn’t my favourite feature. Quite expensive for a wheel that doesn’t turn at all. I thought with the single wheel it would push more like a B.O.B stroller and would have a lot more control but it is 100% locked straight. Which is fine for some trails but living in the mountains a lot of our trails are winding which makes this wheel pretty impossible to use. Love the bike attachment and the stroller wheels aren’t bad but not quite rugged enough for trails I like to run. Wish there was a single front jogging wheel that swivelled :(

Most jogging strollers on the market have a fixed front wheel for stability at higher speeds. Most that have a swiveling front wheel, and are intended for jogging, have the ability to "lock out" the front wheel in a forward position. This safety feature is included in the Thule Urban Glide 2 stroller. While this may be slightly inconvenient, it is a feature designed for the safety of the child riding the jogging stroller.

I we just received it last week and have only done one run but it worked great.

Fantastic
I bought the jogging kit to use with my Chariot Thule Lite and while I find it awesome to run with on roads and fire trails, I can't figure out how to store the wheel and its arms with the little black strap that is provided with the kit. On the regular Chariot there's a boxy-bin on the back of the unit with 4 little attachment points but that isn't there on the Lite. Any suggestions?
