RUNS EXTREMELY SMALL

I have this same Splendid dress in navy from last season in a medium and its a tad big on me to the point I had to get it altered & hemmed. Thought that was going to be the case here but I wanted the black version - the Medium this season is super short and extremely tight across the bust/shoulder area. Sadly returning.
