Works great for a stationary person
I bought these and used them for a week and had to purchase a replacement as I grew more and more frustrated. First Impressions were amazing; straight out of the box they are amazing the spatial awareness was impressive and they work great for phone calls. Though majority of my headphone use is active use. As in working out, biking, or working outside. Once I started to move these slip out of my ears. They required constant adjusting when running it seemed every 100 yards I would have to reposition them. When performing weightlifting I had to turn all the smart features off as they kept pausing my music. While performing simple things like pushups they would fall out. Not to mention while sitting at my desk at work the left ear bud would skip for about 3 seconds every minute which was driving me up a wall. I really wanted they ear buds to work as they reminded me of my old galaxy buds I used to love but these are not made for active lifestyles. If you are using them for wearing in the office or for flying on plane, I believe they will work fine but if you find yourself using them in active scenarios I recommend to keep looking.

A year review
Aesthetically 5 stars. Overall the experience has been horrible; overall sound quality isn't there, iphone app isnt helpful, and constantly replacing tips --- which aren't made from a quality material and aren't easy to clean. I found that previous in ear expericnes (JBL, Beats, and others) all had quality tips and were cleanable. Once I found tips to replace, different manafacturer, I enjoyed the snug fit of ear piece. I enjoy the shape and design of the headphone in my ear.

YOU DONT WANT TO HELP
I had the headphones and I lost the right side and bought a replacement and I can't pair them. Then i found out that it was a different firmware, so i try to speak with Support and didn't solve anything. They gave me 2 website of companies that supose to fix that issue but when i call them they say that they can not fix that problem no longer. So i'm very desperate, thank for nothing

Some good some bad
I´ve been using my WF-1000XM5 earbuds for 1 year+ and they have very good sound quality, I´ll say some pros and cons. Con 1: They only come with foam tips, these tips irretate my ears skin, Had to switch, so I use the silicone tips from the XM3 earbuds, cause they don´t irritate my skin so sadly I have less noice canceling. Con 2: When i put them in the case there is no indicator for each earbud, so sometimes one charges while the other does not. Con 3: Compared to some other earbuds the 8 hour playtime is not the longest. while others can last up to and beyond 18 hours. Pro 1: They have ambient sound, And the noice canceling is good. (Altough I don´t get the best noice canceling cause of the foam.) Pro 2: Comfortable in the ears and don´t stick out too much, so they stay inn without falling out while running. Pro 3: They have very good sound quality, when listening to music and phonecalls. Pro 4: Fast charging times when the earbuds are inn the case.

The best ear buds i ever owed
FIrst let's start with the sound quality its amazing the best up to this point Ive ever heard or found in a market flooded with high priced low quality products. Second these ear buds are amazingly comfortable with usable a breeze and easy set. Third the Sony app is also very user friendly with great features for any lifestyle work or play. Well worth the price you pay

Do not buy
not satisfied with the product. in just 4 months my one side of my earbud stopped working and then they replaced that and with the new pair of earbuds same issue happened after 11 months and by that time my buds were out of warranty so they couldn't help.

Great sound and superior noise cancelling.
Only had these earbuds two days, but am so impressed with the sound quality and noise cancelling features that I could not wait to review. Only issue is that the standard tips that come with them do not fit my left ear canal. I have ordered more tips from Sony to try. If they fit your budget, get them.
