The 500 Thread count really makes a difference, makes the cover firmer yet softer to the touch due to its cotton material. The duvet cover is instantly warm covering your body, makes you fall asleep that much quicker. The duvet cover is excellent, but the two shams are a bit too small for standardized pillows.

It seems as if this particular duvet was damaged. Several large faded spots. I had to return. That said, the fabric feels so soft. The blue is a bit electric. Would buy again in a different color. I think fading was a one-off. Overall good quality
