Pretty But Faulty Clasp

I ordered these two tone earrings on line and couldn’t get over how beautiful they were when they arrived. However, sadly they did not work for me. The space between the earring and the post was SO narrow I couldn’t get them on my ears. I loved the idea of them being lever back but I’m not sure how they can fit anyone’s ears.
