Beautiful, but less functional than expected

This backpack's look is very nice and modern, and it's clear that it's made of high quality materials. I did expect it to be more functional in terms of pouches with the zippers inside - for kids and small stuff. Unfortunately there aren't any of those, which was a bit of disappointment.

Great Travel Backpack

I was looking for a sturdier travel backpack and this looks like the right one. It's sturdy, roomy, and very good quality. I had been buying cheaper ones but they started falling apart fast. I think this one will actually last a long time.

lite weight and roomy

I like the many features and compartments to store things conveniently and safely on trips and daily uses. The zipper main for the main compartment is helpful when the bag is placed under the seat and I need to go to the restroom or take a nap. The color is neutral and yet different than most backpacks. I like also the extended warranty from Samsonite. The separate storage space for a laptop and iPad is huge and well placed on the back side with edge protection to keep a Macbook Pro 16 in safe.

Outstanding qualilty and versatility

i bought this as a replacement for a previous version, not that it really needs replacement. After 6 years of hard use, the handle on top was a bit scuffed, and the foam on the one strap for one-shoulder carrying in airports got a bit compressed. The Samsonite quality and durability is truly outstanding, and the number and layout of the various pockets is excellent. This version has all of the features and quality of the previous versions, with upgrades to the handle, straps and appearance. The zippers are a bit nicer as well. Macbook 15" fits quite nicely.
