SAM.Freestyle Down Jacket

Stylish and warm jacket!

I purchased my original SAM Freestyle Jacket 6-7 years ago (?), and after wearing it every winter since, it's just starting to show some signs of wear along the edges of the cuffs. I was very happy to see this SAM Freestyle Jacket is still being sold (albeit very slightly updated, with beefier zipper pulls). I grabbed a new one on sale! The design, fit, and fabric seem to be exactly the same. FWIW: 1) I had mine (the original one) dry cleaned the first couple of years, but I've machine washed/dried it ever since, and it comes out beautifully (using tennis balls in the dryer). If the wear along the cuffs is the result of machine wash/dry (I don't know if it is, or it's just normal wear), and it's just now showing that (after 6-7 years!), I don't mind. I've certainly gotten my $'s worth out of it, and it's still wearable . 2) My original jacket is a size medium, as is the new one. I'm normally anywhere from an XS or S or M in tops and sweaters, and often a S or M in winter jackets.
