Polo isn't what it used to be

Functional but lacking in appeal. Cotton material is slightly itchy, not very comfortable for sleeping in. Slightly baggy fit, pants are are closley cuffed around the ankle. Not an attractive grey color. Waistband is far too tight and not sufficiently stretchy. This is a common problem. Why are PJ pants made with tighter waistbands than most shorts for men?
