Very small make

Purchased the Large 1 month prior to my kids birthday. He is a slender and tall and normally i buy a medium. For this price point i thought id go up a size but am shocked that a large is not at all large. My kid loves the print so I’ll keep it but this is at best a small medium with some stretch. My kid had to pul and stretch to get into it. Once on, it looked good but will only last 6m. Not happy with sizing.
