Best Coffee Container I've Ever Purchased

So far this container is working great. Very pleased with it. Coffee is staying nice and fresh. A big improvement over my old one. Holds a good amount of ground coffee. I like the scoop too,

Sleek

I used to store my ground coffee in the steel can it came in. Unfortunately, I noticed that the coffee didn’t taste as fresh after a while. Getting this container was a major improvement because it helped to seal the coffee, which made the aroma and flavor more prominent.

Not sure what we did wrong?

Love these for storing our coffee beans but we soaked overnight with dish soap and now the inside of the container is white and discolored.
