Not fond of the design
Poor design. The straps attach at the bottom of the bag in a weird way and it pulls the bottom of the bag upwards. The straps rut into my armpits and the fabric is very dull. A definite return. Cute as a bag, roomy, just not a backpack for me.

Backpack too big for both plane and city touring
I was looking for a medium-sized convertible backpack that I could take on the plane and carry around cities while touring. I love the MZ Wallace look but this did not fit the bill. It’s too big. The top handles stick up and do not fit over the shoulder. The straps do not fold away easily, so not so convertible. I returned. Instead, I purchased the Crosby MZ Wallace small backpack in magnet. Slightly more expensive but perfect for what I want.

Medium Convertible Back Pack.
The material and the weight of the bag is great. It is small, I did not find the size a problem just surprised. This is the first M Z Wallace that I returned. The straps did not work for they were not comfortable. I tried to throw it on one shoulder and that did not work. I wish the handle was longer so I could also use it as a shoulder bag. I was limited to just using the short handle to carry it. I wish M Z would redesign it with longer handles that would also lay down flat they stick up.
The Metro Convertible Backpack I
The Metro Convertible Backpack I bought lacked the two interior vertical leather trimmed pockets pictured in the website backpack. Additionally, the small pocket under the leather trimmed zipper was much inferior to the neatly inserted pocket of the pictured backpack. MZW has since removed the photo. I contacted Support, asking them to send me one like the one pictured for my trip in two weeks. Support was slow and difficult, delaying with several requests to which I responded immediately, and the day before I was to depart said the backpack pictured is no longer available and that I could return the one I bought. No recognition of wrong doing, and they could have told me that two weeks sooner. I kept the backpack because, at that point I needed it, but I don’t love it, knowing that it is not the quality I expected for the money paid. It was a very disappointing and sad experience. MZW is not the top tier company I anticipated, and I will not be a repeat customer.
