Made InCarbon Steel 17.5" Griddle

This griddle has been a very nice addition to our outdoor charcoal grilling! It does a great job of putting a crust on steaks and smash burgers. So far, it appears to be very well made. It’s sturdy and finished nicely. It does have a bit of weight to it and I would have liked to have seen the handles edges rounded off as they are a bit sharp - consider getting the leather handle covers.

We are using the round carbon steel griddle on our weber bbq. great for veggies as well as burgers and chicken. haven't tried bacon and eggs yet

Definitely worth having if you plan to do pizza on the grill. Distributes the heat more evenly than placing pizza directly on the grate.

I have a Komodo Akorn grill. Tonight I used my new griddle for the first time. Smash burgers with Swiss cheese, onions and mushrooms. Perfect

If you are considering buying this product to use on a charcoal grill, don't shy away: sprint away as fast as you can. Supposedly the griddle came seasoned, but I seasoned it twice more using Made In's product. The steaks I put on it stuck to the griddle so badly they nearly dismembered, and the cooking was ultra hot. I've been cooking over open flame charcoal for over 50 years and never had anything turn out so badly. I won't be returning this product--I will gain more satisfaction disposing of it at the Town recycling. It ruined easter dinner.

If anyone is considering using this product to cook over a charcoal grill, do not shy away from it-----sprint away as fast as you can. It came pre-seasoned, allegedly, and I cured it twice more using Made In's wax product, following the instructions to a tee. Upon cooking, our steaks stuck to the product like nothing else I have seen, and I have over 50 years experience cooking over charcoal grills. The "even cooking" representation was accurate---everything turned out well done. I don't intend to return it---I will gain more satisfaction throwing it in the metal recycling bin at the Town Hall dump next week.

An awesome piece. Fits my Weber perfectly and provides an amazing alternative cooking surface to the regular grill grate. It is well seasoned and cleans up very easily. I was surprised by how thick the steel is too. Very nice.

The seasoning was horribly done on this, particularly for the price. I had to scrub off the seasoning because it arrived and was very tacky which is not how well-seasoned cookware should feel.
