  • How To Use It

    - Apply this powder foundation to prepped skin.
    - For lighter coverage, use a fluffy brush like the 168S Brush (sold separately).
    - To build coverage, apply with the included sponge applicator or a 170S Brush (sold separately). Store sponge in the compartment underneath the powder instead of on top of the powder.
    - For additional coverage and wear, buff Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 onto skin using the 159S Brush (both sold separately) before applying the powder.
    - To use as a setting powder, apply with the 240S Brush to your T-zone area and the 187S Brush all over the face (both sold separately).
    - Finish your application with a light spritz of Fix+ (sold separately) to give skin a fresh appearance.

Game changer

My color is not available AGAIN!

I had been using MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation in NW15 until the shade was reformulated and became significantly darker. I then switched to NW5, which I was told was the closest match among the new shades, but now I can’t find NW5 listed anywhere. Am I overlooking it, or is the shade—or possibly the entire line—being discontinued? I wanted to compare the shades in person, but apparently you no longer have a MAC counter for your own brand. It has become unnecessarily difficult to find and purchase the right foundation shade.

RIP Studio Fix

What made OG STUDIO FIX POWDER PLUS FOUNDATION was the flawless, blurred, mannequin skin the compact gave. The original had a creaminess and density to it that's lacking in the new formula. There's a ton of loose powder that gets everything when using this product. It appears dusty on the skin and emphasizes texture, even creates texture that wasn't there on bare skin. Look at the before and after photos for the shades yourself. The before skin looks so much better than after this foundation is applied. It's dry, low coverage, and dusty. It has no redeeming qualities to note. I spent 30 minutes swatching every possible shade that should've worked for me in my skin tone range and I didn't get a single seamless match. Oh. And the days of being able to match your Studio Fix Powder foundation shade to your Studio Fix Fluid shade are long gone. Completely different shades. I'm so sad. I couldn't even find a shade in SFF either that I felt happy with.
