Perfect dress for black-tie optional event!

Stunning dress for my black-tie optional event. l believe the dress will be a perfect balance between elegance and comfort particularly given the event will be in the warm (or possibly hot) summer months.

Pretty Dress

I purchased two dresses from Mac Duggal for a wedding. I was very disappointed as to how the items were shipped. Both garments, one being a ball gown, with a very full skirt, were stuffed into a box that was too small for even one dress. The company could have done a much better job in shipping and displaying their product.

Unexpectedly disappointing

The Mc Duggal, the dress is surprisingly cheap looking, stiff, not flowy, and peach colored, not natural. The worst part is that it is EXTREMELY glittery. Not just sparkly, but full of the glitter falling off. There was so much glitter that I had to shower immediately and wash my floor three times to pick up the glitter that fell off the dress. Small sticky particles everywhere. I question whether it's even healthy or safe. Will be returning. Not the quality I would expect from the brand or from Bloomingdale's.

Better for Short Torso

I’ve wanted this dress for a long time but unfortunately the sizing didn’t work. I would size down. However it’s better for those with a shorter torso — I have a longer torso and so the waist didn’t hit at the right place and get more like a toddler dress. Also the belt was silver and stood out more than I liked.

This dress looks like a fairy godmother costume. All I was missing was a Tiera and a wand.

This dress is perfect for the ones who have a pear shaped body. I actually was able to size down by 2 sizes in this dress and it fit perfectly. I will not have to do any alterations, which is fabulous. I love the nostalgic feel of this dress and love that it is tea length.

Loved the fit, although i could i hv bought 1 size down. The gown is so elegant and i got so many compliments. To know you accurate sizing don't order any dress close to time of your event so you can exchange appropriately. I love this designers clothing a lot and will be adding more to my collection.
