Short

It's short-about 8 inches. I've seen other le creuset pepper mills that are taller and that is what I was expecting.Otherwise, it works fine so far but I need to get better at adjusting the grinding level.

Beautiful pepper grinder,

Very charming pepper grinder (i bought specifically for my whole green peppercorns - i already have a black pepper grinder). I like all my Creuset kitchen tools and saucepans - and this is a beautiful addition
