Lid does not open
The lid would not open! Great design just please fix the product and I will buy the product once you get the engineering design to function. Form is great but you need the product to function!

Sleek Looking and Heats up Quickly
I love the look of this kettle. It's much more sleek and modern looking than most. It heats up quickly and it holds a decent amount of water.

Beautiful to look at but not so great to use.
We bought 3 of the kitchenaid countertop appliances about 3 weeks ago. Love the look and the porcelain color but to use the kettle is an exercise in frustration. Pressing the button on top of the lid DOES NOT release the lid. I use the kettle 4 times a day and each time it is a struggle. It takes multiple attempt to open the lid and I usually have to press the button and use my fingernail along the edge of the lid at the same time to get it to open. THAT is ridiculous. I would just fill the kettle by running water into the spout but the design requires running the water slowly so it doesn't back up out of the spout - thereby taking way too long to fill!

Honestly, I love it
Honestly, I love it. It looks good, it heats quickly, its fairly easy to clean. The temp control setting seems fairly accurate, which is a great change from other kettles I've had.

Elegant, Sleek, and Perfect
I am a huge tea drinker and have used many tea kettles before and I am absolutely wowed by this one! The automatic features are amazing! You select the temp and it shuts off once it has reached it. It looks so elegant and it feels so heavy duty. This is my new favorite appliance in my kitchen! Could not be more impressed!
