Quality control issues

I was really looking forward to this cutting board because it appeared to be high quality, but unfortunately the one I received was defective. The board had visible defects in the wood/finish right out of the box that should have been caught during quality control. At this price point, I expected much better craftsmanship. I’m disappointed because the design and size are exactly what I wanted, but receiving a defective product makes it difficult to recommend. Hopefully this was an isolated quality control issue, but buyers should inspect their board carefully upon arrival.
