Dye from print bled

When I first wore this, I sweated a bit and the dye from the print on the shirt bled onto the white parts of the shirt. It looks so bad. I wanted to take it back, but it was sweaty so it was embarrassing. I couldn't wash it first cause I didn't want the dye to possibly bleed in my machine. So, I'm stuck with this shirt I can't wear or wash.
