Too ling, bad zipper

I received a XL, was the right size for me, but too long, needs a lot of hemming, but since the zip was broken, back it goes. Lacks quality.

Gorgeous!

The fit is amazing, maybe runs a little bit small. The colors are muted but I'm thinking perfect for early fall. Every detail is beautiful.

Farm Rio maxi dresses in larger sizes are too long

I tried a L and a XL. I'm 170 lbs and 5'3'' tall. I'd need a good 3 inches to close the zipper on the waist when I tried the Large, but the length was good. Size XL was very roomy on the upper back, close to the neck, making the dress sleeves seams sit far from my shoulders, like a football player. Waist was perfect on the XL (37 inches total), but length was absurdly long, I could cut off the lower tier to make it the same length as in the model picture. I tried to think of possible alterations to shorten it. If a model wears a small size and is already a very tall woman, how tall a woman needs to be to wear a size XL and have the same length as we see in the model? 8ft? Why Farm Rio maxi dresses are so long on larger sizes?

Lovely Dress

This dress was quite lovely. Heavier fabric, colors very pretty. I will be returning but only because I chose another dress, I liked a little better. For reference, I'm 174lbs, 5'4 and fit in the XL, however, it was not ankle length on me, it almost hit the floor. Another reason, I wasn't quite sold and didn't have time for alterations.

Dull color

I took this out of the package and wondered if it was the same dress. Color in person is very drab. Brownish orange. Muted. Does not look like spring print.
