What It Is

Dyson's most advanced filtration system combines a precise, solid-state formaldehyde sensor with a unique catalytic filter that continuously destroys formaldehyde. And Dyson purifiers have powerful Air Multiplier technology to purify the whole room.²

Third party full machine testing based on GB/T 18801-2018 formaldehyde cumulative clean mass testing with continuous injection until plateau of formaldehyde CADR is achieved. Results may vary in practice.

Worth every penny.

Filters the air as it should. Great purchase ! Bought on a whim. Definitely not disappointed.

Not really a fan but a good purifier

I purchased this as it had good reviews! The air flow on this is pretty poor, I’d probably get better from a cheap fan. This is definitely more of an air purifier rather than a fan. I wouldn’t recommend this to keep you cool

Dyson HEPA Purifier Cool TP09 Formaldehyde

The airflow seems to be better than most fans and it does cool the room down. It does get noisy when run at higher speeds but mid range is reasonably bearable. The coverage of the flow has been kept at 90 degrees and that's quite adequate.

Great Machine.

Our son bought this for us as I (his Mum) has lung problems and it is absolutely marvellous. It is also so quiet you do not know it is on. It was the perfect present.

Misleading marketing

I’m quite confused by this product and the marketing around it. Should they be allowed to market it as “cool” air? Bought it during a heatwave to help cool down and clean the air especially of cooking smells. The fan element is shockingly weak and certainly not cool air at all. A tower fan I bought from a supermarket for under 30 pounds offers more of a breeze. I also didn’t feel that the fan did much to get rid of cooking smells or smoke from our downstairs neighbour coming into our flat which was one of the primary reasons I wanted it (aside from the promise of “cool” air). We returned this and bought an air conditioning unit instead for the same price. Much better.

Not worth it

This purifier is ok - I question the reliability of the sensors because almost every time I turn the purifier on, the air quality worsens which I find very strange. Not worth the cost, disappointing. The fan is also pretty terrible.
