  • About The Fragrance

    Sparkling leaf, cubeb, green pepper and cracked Ukrainian coriander seed. Cool spices and Black Sea breeze--like the hills above Odessa.

    "Coriander is cool. It is a spice, but it is cool. When we think of spices, we think of warmth: nutmeg, ginger, clove, cinnamon. We picture roaring fires, winter warmth, or the tropical climes where these plants grow. Of course with some perfume wizardry you can turn these on their heads. But coriander is already cool. It is fresh, green, pungent and evocative of the grass, the expanse of fields, the sweeping sea.

    Our coriander scent is the coriander from the hills above Odessa on the Black Sea. Tall stalks holding celadon grooved seeds looking down at ships at port. In the top you have the fresh, pungent coriander heightened by sappy green lime peels and the aggressive herbal scrawl of rosemary from Morocco (which is rounder than those from Eastern Europe). Cubeb seeds--the noble cousin to black pepper--give more dry musky round cool. Clary sage takes the baton of herbal strangeness and runs it into the fresh heart. There in the heart is radiant ether--aquatic materials and the ubiquitous ambery cool of iso e super & co along with the rich hay like absolute of lavender. The base of green moss and unctuous musks hold together the lasting fresh cool of cool spice. It is an everyday scent, light enough to meld with skin and project its presence with a subtle aura. Fresh, but unique with its pungent green atmosphere."

Summer scent

This scent is my perfect spring/summer scent, and I can't wait to bring it back out into my rotation. The smell is fresh and light - it doesn't stay for the longest time but I have found that spraying it on clothes helps a lot. Have never been more complimented on a perfume than this one.

Believe they changed the formulation

This has long been one of my favourite fragrances, having discovered it first in circa 2017. But the most recent bottle I purchased (dec 2025) bears very little resemblance to the original. No staying power at all and ive only just run out of the last bottle from Christmas 2024 so i can easily compare them side by side. Avoid. Such a shame. This was an incredible perfume.

Spicy and cool

Always test this in store and finally took the plunge on buying this. The brand says it’s “a spice, but it is cool,” and honestly, that’s spot on. It’s perfect if you’re into spicy scents but still want something fresh enough to wear every day. It also lasts a really long time which you’d hope for, considering the price. I have this on rotation and I’m not tired of it. Also won’t be needing to repurchasing anytime soon because the bottle will last a long time.

Aromatic

I absolutely adore this fragrance, it is spicy and aromatic without leaning too warm or gourmand. It definitely leans more towards coriander seed than fresh coriander but I think that gives it fun and mysterious vibe. Doesn't change too much on dry down. Has excellent staying power without being too cloying or overpowering.

Nice but doesn't last long.

My biggest problem with this scent is the longevity, 3h on skin, so you need to overspray and best to spray some on clothes. For the price, you'll find better scents out there for sure. It's a nice unisex scent, herbal and quite fresh, good for warmer months, not mich sillage though. Good for layering.

Not that unique

I tried a sample of this. As it dried down I was ambivalent, then I loved it…then I was ambivalent again. As others have said, I can’t see why you’d call this fragrance coriander as it bears no grassy, citrusy resemblance. It’s fine, but for the DS

A lovely fresh scent

Not sure the name quite fits this lovely scent, but other than that have no doubts! I was not convinced by a couple of other fragrances from the brand, but this one is a winner - fresh, a bit citrusy, light, definite spring/early summer/ holiday in St Tropez vibe. Yet it feels special, definitely not your regular big brand perfume. I'm adding a large bottle to my wish-list

Nice scent

Nice scent, I was pleasantly surprised. When I think of coriander I imagine something grassy fresh, but this opened with a very pleasant sweetness, not cloying or over the top. Maybe it's my palate but I didn't sense coriander or herbyness at all, which is not a bad thing. The perfume reminded me more of a good sweet wine. The only downside it does not last, after half a day it was not tangible.
