  • What It Does

    Effortlessly diffuses liquid and cream foundations for customized coverage and a fresh, perfectly even finish. Builds thin, even layers with unique flat head design. Minimizes friction and feels luxurious to the touch. Silky-smooth, soft, fine synthetic fibers. Crafted in partnership with Kumano brush artisans, known in Japan as expert craftsmen for more than 80 years. Conveniently stores in a soft, portable case.

  • How To Use It

    - Apply the desired amount of foundation to the palm of your hand. Lift half onto the brush, then place it on the top innermost part of the cheekbone, holding the brush horizontally.
    - Sweeping the brush from the center of the face outward, blend foundation into skin, holding the brush at a slight angle. Repeat the same steps on the other side of your face.
    - Along the facial outline, stroke the brush in a light up-and-down motion to blend flawlessly.
    - For less-than-smooth areas, such as the nose and corners of the mouth, apply foundation holding the brush perpendicular to the face so that the brush tip fits against the skin.
    - For greater coverage, lift a small amount of foundation onto the brush and gently layer, using light tapping motions.

Definitely worth every penny!

My goal with any foundation or skin teint is to use a very light, barely there application. This brush enables me to achieve that effortlessly. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous application!

This brush works beautifully with The Foundation. I lightly apply first with The Foundation gold applicator, then sweep across face with this lovely little brush for a seamless, streak free application! Very easy to clean and comfortable to use.

Like it a lot with certain foundations

I usually use a flat foundation brush and have been looking for something different. Haven’t liked the round fluffy ones so far because they all seem to make my skin look more textured. This one however is an interesting find. It works very well with my watery or creamy foundations. It does make the coverage slightly more full so I don’t use it with my already full coverage foundation that is a thicker consistency. I especially love it for using with my Koh gen do aqua foundation. It makes it go on smooth and doesn’t accentuate texture or make it settle into creases. The shape of the brush also makes the nose/nostril area very easy to apply makeup on. It also makes the area above my eyelid and below my brow easy to apply foundation to (I usually don’t even bother with that area because it’s especially textured for me). One thing is that I could not find any pictures of the shape of the brush head anywhere online so I didn’t know what to expect. So I attached a photo of it below

Just ok

Based on the reviews, I thought I'd love this brush. The shape is odd for a foundation brush- not as full on round on top as I expected. Also very stiff and not as soft as I anticipated. It's very pretty but not worth the money in my opinion
