  • What It Does

    Creates seamless, polished coverage with liquid and cream foundations. Enables easy, uniform application with an angled head and dense fibers that ensure foundation adheres closely to the skin. Minimizes friction and feels luxurious to the touch. Silky-smooth, soft, fine synthetic fibers. Crafted in partnership with Kumano brush artisans, known in Japan as expert craftsmen for more than 80 years. Conveniently stores in a soft, portable case.

  • How To Use It

    - Apply the desired amount of foundation to the palm of your hand. Dot foundation to five points (forehead, nose, chin, both cheeks) on the face with your fingertip. Starting at the center of your face, blend outward with the brush, holding it perpendicular to the skin and using light tapping motions.
    - Working outward, blend foundation into skin, holding the brush at a slight angle. Repeat the same steps on the other side of your face.
    - Along the facial outline, stroke the brush in a light up-and-down motion to blend flawlessly.
    - For less-than-smooth areas, such as the nose and corners of the mouth, apply foundation holding the brush perpendicular to the face so that the brush tip fits against the skin.
    - With the tip of the brush pointed upward, lightly slide the brush inward along the cheekbone and the jawline.

Flawless

This foundation is beautiful on my skin, I bought another one just a tad bit lighter than the first one because I like a little brightness but the color match is on point! My skin looks flawless!!

Like it a lot with certain foundations

I usually use a flat foundation brush and have been looking for something different. Haven’t liked the round fluffy ones so far because they all seem to make my skin look more textured. This one however is an interesting find. It works very well with my watery or creamy foundations. It does make the coverage slightly more full so I don’t use it with my already full coverage foundation that is a thicker consistency. I especially love it for using with my Koh gen do aqua foundation. It makes it go on smooth and doesn’t accentuate texture or make it settle into creases. The shape of the brush also makes the nose/nostril area very easy to apply makeup on. It also makes the area above my eyelid and below my brow easy to apply foundation to (I usually don’t even bother with that area because it’s especially textured for me). One thing is that I could not find any pictures of the shape of the brush head anywhere online so I didn’t know what to expect. So I attached a photo of it below

Just ok

Based on the reviews, I thought I'd love this brush. The shape is odd for a foundation brush- not as full on round on top as I expected. Also very stiff and not as soft as I anticipated. It's very pretty but not worth the money in my opinion

Wish I wouldn’t have purchased

I was so excited when I finally pulled the trigger and decided to purchase this brush. Couldn’t wait to get it! After using it a few times with liquid foundation the bristles Clump together, and it’s not soft after using it once. Maybe it’s me and that I’ve used a beauty blender sponge for so long this just isn’t working for me. It takes too much foundation onto the brush, and there ends up being a lot of foundation on my face as well as still wasted foundation on the brush.
