After studying the camellia for 19 years, CHANEL Research has harnessed its energy to create red camellia extract, which is obtained through a three-step extraction process. The petals first undergo cold fragmentation, then their antioxidant properties are released through hydrofusion. Finally, the solution is purified, resulting in a potent ingredient that boosts skin's vitality and defends against oxidative stress. Camellia ceramides help fortify the moisture barrier.

How To Use It
Smooth N°1 DE CHANEL CREAM onto the face and neck every morning and evening. Lightly tap skin with your fingertips to encourage absorption and leave a glowing appearance. Using the palms of your hands, gently smooth from the jawline up to the ears, from the sides of the nose to the ears, from the center of the forehead to the temples and from the ears down to the neck.

Love it

I was pleasantly surprised by this moisturizer! It wears amazing alone, or under makeup. I am 35 with sensitive acne prone skin, and this moisturizer didn’t break me out or irritate my skin. It does have a light scent, but nothing that bothered my eyes. The consistency is very plush, almost gel like cream. A little bit goes a long way too! I love how plump it makes my skin, will definitely buy again. Reminds me a lot of Korean moisturizers I have tried.

Love it!!

Good results but pricey and heavily scented

Hydrating without feeling heavy. Made my skin feel soft and plump. Not a fan of the scent. It’s definitely a splurge. Other moisturizers deliver similar results at a lower price point. Chanel sent me this free sample through the BzzAgent sampling program.

Lovely thick cream

I received this for free to review and I’m very pleased with it. It’s a lovely thick cream that doesn’t feel greasy on the skin. I have fairly dry skin in the winter time and this is the perfect weight for those dryer times of year. As we enter into spring and summer I likely will need something lighter weight, but that is typical for my skin. I also tend to be sensitive to fragrances, but didn’t have any issues with this cream. It is a bit pricey, but a little goes a long way so it should last a long time and be a decent value.
