Great Backpack

Lots of pockets is great. Still need to figure out how best to use them all. Also easy to slide over the handle of the wheeled carry-on for easy movement through the airport.

Good backpack

Nicely designed, works really well for a laptop and a work backpack. Elegant enough to take anywhere. Functional enough to take anywhere. It’s nicely under airplane seats.

Backpack

We now own many Briggs & Riley luggage pieces along with the cargo backpack. Although it is small in size the pack has plenty of room for a laptop and additional items. I used it for the first time on our recent international trip and found it very easy to get on & off planes as well as trains and cabs I am very happy with my investment

Personal Item Qualified for Airline Travel!

I've been using this bag over a year now or so. My old Tumi bag gave out on a trip passing through DEN airport and Briggs had a store. Picked it up and couldn't be more happy. I now have a smaller Tumi for trips that don't require a lot, so the flexibility is great. People are right that this bag doesn't hold it's shape well, but it is a cargo bag. I use it mostly on trips when I only want to take a "personal item" per airline rules. It is actually considered a personal item and I've never been asked to pay extra for it. Because it is a cargo bag, it is very roomy and can fit a pair of shoes, change of clothes, all my toiletries, laptop/ipod, etc. I can literally go for about 3 days with no other bag. I would say it this way: my smaller, form fitting Tumi is like a small car for driving in town and my Briggs is like an SUV for hitting the road.

Trip

Lots of compartments, relatively light weight, top quality. Bought it for an upcoming trip overseas. We’ll see how it works!!

Exceeded expectations

Lighter than I expected, very roomy, and a sleek overall design. Everything is easy to store, find and organize. Super easy and surprisingly comfortable to wear. The only change I’d make is the passport pocket being on the outside to somewhere more hidden, perhaps on the inside. I thought the square design of the top, as opposed to the traditional tapered design of backpacks, would be bulky and awkward, but all it does it provide more space and isn’t a hinderance in any way. Would recommend to everyone.

Great bag with some minor tweaks

Just used this bag for a work conference. Likes: the top pocket provided easy access to things I needed in flight, it was easy to organize electronics (MacBook Pro 14", iPad, phone) and paperwork. In the main bag section, I ended up purchasing several small pouches to help me keep chargers, cables, pens, and other small items organized. It held plenty of stuff for traveling, and when I used at the conference it didn't look too weird as a mostly empty bag (where I just carried electronics and paperwork). It held a lot more stuff than my older style ZDX backpack/convertible brief bag. Dislikes: an additional stability strap towards the top would be good to help it stay upright on my ZDX 22" carryon suitcase. The bag wanted to tip over a little bit, I solved this by using a carabiner from the top handle to the suitcase handle, but this really shouldn't be necessary. I hadn't overpacked the backpack, but it seemed to want to tip forward anyway. My ZDX convertible brief/backpack (older style) has a wider slip-through panel which works really well. I also wish it had at least one more pen loop on the front RFID pocket. Overall, this is a great bag and I anticipate that it will be a regular bag used in my travels for a long time.
