Fits right for my style

Have had it now for 3 months, after using a B&R backpack for the last 15 years. Love it as smaller width fits my laptop and daytimer perfectly with plenty of pockets for peripherals.

Almost fantastic

The construction and durability on this backpack is fantastic. I love the way this bag opens, but I wish the interior pockets had slightly more fabric in them to make them a tad bigger. The side pockets are quite narrow and difficult to reach the bottom of. The main zipper also makes it seem like the bag can open very wide (because of the length of the zipper), but in actuality, it doesn’t open much wider than the actual base of the bag.

The other reviewers are right!

This is an incredibly well made backpack. I love all the thoughtfully located organizing compartments- from the pen holders, to the front zip pocket for my cell phone, to the pocket in the back for boarding passes/passports, to the water bottle holder. the wide zip area is a great size. I can put all my things (chargers, dongles, and clickers) as well as snacks and a light cardigan or jacket and nothing gets crushed. The zippers aren’t as buttery as some describe or as tough as others describe; especially around the wide mouth part. The laptop compartment is perfect with enough room for docs as well as a notebook. I agree it’s worth spending the money and not buying anymore backpacks that aren’t as well made or as great quality. Love this purchase! I also bought a Travelon Anti-Theft Metro Convertible Small Crossbody Bag and they look like a set. I can slip it inside my backpack when I’m boarding and don’t have to pull my backpack off my back when I need something quickly.

Great product, well made and

Great product, well made and perfect travel size. Still trying to find the hidden pocket for a digital tracker!!! I don't think mine actually has one after me and several others have tried to find it.

Light and highly functional

I love this backpack. It has so much storage room for how light it is, and there are enough differentiators that it's not just a boatload of crap in a single big pocket. I like that it enables me to be strategic in what I want to access and when, and that they thought through the edge cases that the business traveler will so often run into on exactly what they need when in a journey. It fits easily on top of my carry-on as well.

Just Buy It

I hated buying this bag. It was too expensive, overly specific, and felt entirely indulgent. Now that I’ve gotten over that, I absolutely love it. It holds exactly what I need for a carry-on and it is easy to access everything when you are working in the tiny space that exists between your knees and the airline seat in front of you. The storage is organzied in a way that is quick to memorize (important when your seatmates are sleeping and you can’t actually see what you are reaching for) and easy to access. You don’t even need a masters degree in re-shuffling. My computer is snuggly tucked away and my snacks are not mashed under my reading material. This bag is also lightweight for its capacity and slips perfectly over my luggage handle. I wish one of the side pockets fit a bigger water bottle, but then the whole thing might be asymetrical and ridiculous.

Great backpack for travel

I am thoroughly happy with the Medium Widemouth Backpack. It has plenty of space for everything I need to bring with me on my weekly business trips but is not too big or heavy. I especially like the structure in the backpack that makes it stand up on end and that allows easy access to reach it to place or remove items. You don't have to use one hand to steady the bag while using the other hand to load and unload.
