Love the design and functionality.

Love the design and functionality. Overall, I'm very happy with it. My only complaint is that the zippers don't slide as easy as I would like. Particularly the zipper for the largest compartment. The lid is large, so the fabric naturally flexes and folds, which causes the zipper to rotate. Closing the zipper in that condition isn't always smooth.

Guaranteed for Life

Wasn’t in the market for a bag really but needed a new suitcase. Then I saw someone with his bag in the green and loved it. I’m not disappointed. I do think the colored nylon looks a bit better than the black but black is timeless and matches my carryon. Fits everything I dumped into my Coach Empire Carryall 48 and still has room. The laptop/ipad spots are fantastic because they are in a separate spot right up against your back. This keeps the weight distributed well and the heavy tech doesn’t lean away from you causing discomfort. The stash pouch up against your back will keep your wallet etc secure. Made with recycled material and guaranteed for life. I plan on taking them up on that promise. Purchased at Bloomingdales because of their excellent service and rewards availability.

Questions answered

This was better looking in appearance than I expected. There were a couple of things I wasn't sure about before it arrived. One, the top handle. Was it comfortable or did the material dig into your handle? It was just fine. Two, the straps on the back. Other backpacks had zippered covers to keep them out of the way or a pocket to tuck them away. Would this be a problem on this bag? The answer was No. The straps can easily be lengthened out and then tucked behind the horizontal sleeve used when transporting the bag on top of another suitcase handle. If you want to sling the bag over one shoulder, you can use this method to expose only the strap you're going to use. I think Briggs & Riley's review video should have demonstrated both of these points. It would have been a selling point for me since I questioned its real-world use. I'm glad I took the chance and ordered it even with those uncertainties. All worked out well and I'm very happy with the purchase.

TOP tier backpack

I searched wide and far for a great backpack. I’ve carried totes for a while but they are always so uncomfortable and hurt my back. I wanted a backpack that I could also travel with if needed and it was hard to find one that did all the above. I kept getting recommendations for these backpacks. I’ve been using mine for about 1. 5 weeks and I have zero complaints. The space utilization is solid, and I swear I keep finding hidden compartments. The only little tweak I wish these had was a sternum strap. As an avid hiker, these will take so much pressure off your upper back, but other than that this backpack was worth every penny.

Everything is great about this

Everything is great about this backpack except that I couldn’t match the color of my Briggs and Riley international carry-on from several years ago. It has all the functionality I was looking for.
