Did I get a doozy?

I just unpacked this 800 fill comforter last night. It seems awfully flat. This is replacing the my luxe 700 fill that I had for four years but the down shifted and the top and bottom has gone completely flat despite rotating it regularly. I purchased this one thinking it would be more durable and at least as fluffy as the 700 fill one. Does it take a few days to expand? Maybe it was used and returned? The measurements came out a few inches shorter on both ends than the description. I will update this review accordingly.

Thin and already leaking down

Extremely disappointing. The comforter is thin, not very warm and there are already feathers leaking everywhere. The only positive is the size, but it's paper thin and not worth the effort to put into a duvet cover. Will be returning ASAP.

Lightweight but warm

This is only my second down comforter. I randomly won my first one so i never had to shop for one before. But it was time to replace and the tags were all faded... i searched, bought, returned... This one seemed thinner than my old one but all the specs were good and the price also so i kept... glad i did because it is deceptively warm for its lightweight-ness (i turn the heater on when the temp goes below 70 lol)... Min 90% goose down on tag (I don't believe tag ever says 100%)... it is traceable for those who care... 100% cotton cover with smooth pattern (worried it would be coarse)... has corner loops to strap duvet cover on to (if that's important)... really impressed with bloomingdale's brand quality
