"Cancer, birth defects, or reproductive harm"

"Cancer, birth defects, or reproductive harm" - First thing I see once I open the passport case package. Smells like chemicals, so no surprise there. Why would you need to use such harmful materials for such a simple item? On top, the stiching and cutting looks beyond amateur, like it's done by a hobbyist, not a trusted big name company. Hard to imagine this item is from an official Bloomingdale's brand.
