A trendy take on a traditional duffle

A great medium weight fall/winter jacket with a duffel coat feel but shorter, so good for those who are not tall or do not want the bulk of a longer stiff coat.I bought the navy whcih is nice and dark The shape is flattering with a bit of boxiness but still tidy enough through the shoulders and neckline. It is hard to see in the photos but there is some nice vertical seaming dowon the center back and a horizontal back yoke seam. The wool blend feels almost like a wool melton that isn't too stiff and the jacket is fully lined. I usually wear a US 4 in coats and bought the manufacturer's size 1 which is a French 36 or UK 8 and ther eis plenty opf room to layer under it. I love that Bloomingdale's carries some French and UK brands that don't have much of their own presence in the US and offers the goods with typical Bloomingdale's terms and service, so returns are easy, even with sale merchandise, though I very rarely need to return anything.
