It’s not a King Size Comforter. It’s too short in length and width. I’m using it as a throw and brought it up from the feet and folded under at both ends. It’s layered since I had a Frette comforter underneath and it looks beautiful but it’s really more for decoration than for your main comforter.
Not Up To Bloomingdales Quality Reputation
The web photo and product description do not accurately reflect the actual item. Instead of “100% cotton for shell” and “polyester as filling” as claimed on web, the face shell is 64% cotton and 36% polyester, as shown by labels sewed to the item. The cotton portion feels and appears very low quality. While the flowery pattern is the only attractive factor, unfortunately such pattern would be more suitable if applied to fine cotton making a light weight coverlet for summer-spring-fall use. Rather, the flowery pattern and blue/white color design are applied to low quality 64% cotton and 36% polyester making into a thick, heavy, and coarse quilt which must only be used for winter. Total thoughtless and incongruous design, cheap materials, and inaccurate product description on web. I would not buy or accept such inferior product at ANY price, as it would be a negative investment and reverse enjoyment. RETURNED. (Item photo unable to upload)
