It started when Mike Natenshon's girlfriend tossed out his favorite tee--a well-worn, ultra-soft shirt that he was desperate to recreate. A year later, Natenshon had the perfect custom fabric, and with the help of his friend Adam Lynch, Marine Layer was born. Now, more than 15 years later, Marine Layer is much more than a T-shirt company. It's a brand run by friends old and new and a certified B-Corp that works to do good for communities, employees, and the planet. And Marine Layer clothing now runs the gamut from tees and sweaters to jackets and pants—all of which are soft, comfortable, and designed to last.
